| ACTION |
Free ACTION school term tickets
for the children of families who have had to relocate
until the family returns to their original home or until
the end of 2003, whichever is sooner. This is regardless
of whether students remain at their school or attend a
new school. Application forms available from schools or
the ACT Recovery Centre. |

| Business packages |
The ACT Government has a package
to help re-establish businesses affected by the bushfires.
The package includes grants of $3,000 to eligible businesses
or rural leaseholders that lost business property in the
fires; and interest subsidies on loans taken out with
financial institutions to repair fire damage to business
premises. |
